DELIVERY INFORMATION

GENERAL

By using Johnandbiola.co.uk website, you are accepting these Conditions of Use, Shipping and Return Policy, Privacy Notice and acknowledging reading   About Us. These do not affect your statutory rights.

The phrase "Johnandbiola.co.uk online franchise of John & Biola Foods" is used only to signify a close working relationship between Johnandbiola.co.uk and John & Biola Foods Brand. These two companies do not have any liability for each other's obligations nor are they jointly or severally liable for any legal purposes.

If any of our Conditions of Use is held by any court of competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, this will not affect the validity of the remaining Conditions of Use which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

These Conditions of Use will be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any dispute which may arise between them.

We may revise our Conditions of Use  at any time without notice to you. You may not access or use the website should you not want to be bound by these Conditions of Use. ACCEPTANCE AND AVAILABILITY

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, please note that we will attempt to deliver substitute lines should your preferred line be unavailable unless you specifically request us not to do so. For example, if you make an order for a brand of rice and it is unavailable, at your request we could deliver a substitute brand.

Although we will always try to cater for your orders, an order of large quantities of a line can only be fulfilled at our discretion.

Your order is an offer to buy from us. Nothing that we do or state will amount to any acceptance of that offer until we actually dispatch the goods to you. A contract will be made between you and us the moment the goods are dispatched (and not before), and you have been charged for the goods.

 

CANCELLATION

You can cancel or change your order by email or phone before the goods are processed or shipped (at no charge). If your order has been processed or shipped prior to our receipt of your cancellation request, you may return the goods (unopened & in good condition) within 7 days for a refund less restocking charge (contact Customer Service for current value).

We will not  refund the shipping, handling and any other 3rd Party cost incurred (Especially due to cancellation for misuse of our service).

We do not refund for fresh, frozen, perishable products and any products modified to fulfill your order.

 

DELIVERY

There are several delivery options available from us. Please refer to our Shipping and Return Policy:

Delivery of Fresh, Frozen, Drinks, Oil, Snacks and Perishable Products are restricted.

 

WE SHIP PERISHABLES AND YOU MUST MAKE PROVISION FOR YOUR PARCEL TO BE RECEIVED. GOODS THAT PERISH DUE TO MISSED DELIVERY WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

 

Our obligation is to deliver your order to the main entrance of the delivery address. At your request and our driver’s discretion, our driver may carry your order into the delivery address, for example, to a particular floor in an apartment block or into your address only if:

The driver has your permission.

Our driver believes that it is safe and practical to do as you requested.

That you accept that we shall not be liable for any claim whatsoever within your premises.

 That we always reserve the right to deliver only to the main entrance of the delivery address.

Our Third Party Delivery Company follows the same delivery procedure listed above.

All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over.

If there is no-one of that age at the address when delivery is being made, the goods may be retained by the driver. If we attempt to deliver your order to the delivery address as arranged with you but there is nobody at the delivery address to accept your order, the driver will leave notification of attempted delivery and you will need to contact our Customer Service.

In these circumstances, if we have to return to deliver the goods, a further charge may apply.

Whilst we make every effort to deliver all your goods in the agreed time, we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT YOUR ADDRESS HAVE UNRESTRICTED PARKING FACILITY FOR OUR DELIVERY. IF WE ARE UNABLE TO DELIVER TO YOU DUE TO RESTRICTIONS, YOU MAY INCUR CHARGES.

 

DELIVERY TIME

Delivery times listed are estimates only. The delivery or pickup day will be agreed with you at the time of placing your order (for In-Store and Local delivery only).

We use a Third Party Delivery Company who may not be able to offer a specific delivery time.

We will however notify you when your order has been dispatched and/or provide you with a reference to track your order.

 

PRIVACY

PAYMENT

You can pay by Debit and Credit Cards. We use Paypal and do not keep your card details to minimise and eliminate the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure.

Authority for payment must be given at the time of placing your order. You will only be charged when your order is prepared and ready for dispatch.

On the occasion where an item is not available, if payment was paid using Paypal, you will not be charged for the unavailable items.

We will not charge you for any incorrect, defective and goods which you have not received. You are only liable for the price of the goods correctly delivered plus the cost of delivery (when applicable).

Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.

 

PASSWORDS AND SECURITY

You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information in connection with the JohnandBiola.co.uk website, and for restricting access to your computer.

You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password, and you agree to notify John and Biola Food Store immediately of any unauthorised use of your passwords or accounts.

Product and product packages may differ slightly to those displayed on our website, if you have any doubt about any product please contact us.

 

NO RETURNS OF PERISHABLE ITEMS

We hope you will be happy with your purchase as we will only ship good quality products to you.

If the quality of any perishable item is not satisfactory kindly contact our customer service by phone or email within 48 hours of receipt of your goods.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

 

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

We strive to ensure that you are happy with your purchase as we will only ship good quality products to you.

However, should you feel it necessary to return any product, we aim to make the return process as simple as possible.

If the quality of your goods is unsatisfactory, you may return the goods to us, provided that you notify us within 48 hours of receipt of the goods.

You must inspect the goods and notify us of any complaint promptly by contacting our customer service.

If the quality of your non-perishable good(s) is unsatisfactory, simply return them to the store, in the original packaging within 7 days of receipt and we will give you a refund for or replace the product(s).

We do not accept returns on Fresh, Frozen and Perishable products (See: No Returns of Perishable Items).

We will accept returns of good quality non-perishable product that you no longer want subject to restocking charge. (contact Customer Service for current value).

We are not liable for and will not refund the delivery cost of returning goods to us.

In any event, we aim to provide you with an excellent & satisfactory service. We implore you to contact our Customer Service if you have any complaint.
